As playtests continue to work on rules tweak we are also working on graphical improvements for the game. Our graphic designer is currently working on creating some iconography for the game. Iconography is the addition of symbols on game pieces so you can understand rules and actions without using written language. This is one of the most important aspects of a games graphic design as it allows you to make a game multilingual as well as refine the rules in a way that they can be communicated with simple graphics.
Though the below pieces, player boards and tiles are not going what will be in the final game they certainly help us see what types of communication help players understand and work through the rules. Do you have any thoughts on the new graphics used here?
